Being on the President’s Gold Fleet means driving for FFE or one of its divisions for at least six years with good customer service, on-time deliveries and no accidents, lost time, or cargo damage. “FFE and American Eagle Lines would like to congratulate these drivers for outstanding performance throughout their careers with us. We are proud to call them part of our team and encourage them and all of our drivers to keep up the excellent work!” says Sherry Bass, Vice-President of Capacity Development for FFE. The new inductees from FFE were: Lance Hendryx, Peter Robb, Sergio Tinoco, Bobby Wallace and Arlyn Southard. The new inductees from American Eagle were: David Carlson, Stanley Easterwood, Ronald Fontenot, Wilford Jones, William Lindsey, Domingo Martinez, Frankie Rambo, Donald Smith, George Steele, David Walker, and Paul Wilson. FFE, the nation’s largest publicly owned refrigerated carrier, has been named by Fortune magazine as one of the 200 best companies to work for in the United States. American Eagle Lines offers a professional driver compensation package and rewards its drivers for their experience and production after joining the AEL team. For drivers interested in owning your own truck, the Clean Slate Lease program offered at both FFE and American Eagle offers the opportunity with no money down and the added benefit of a business support system. Credit isn’t an issue as long as drivers can meet safety and work history requirements. New drivers can also inquire about waiving certain fixed costs with FFE’s Fresh Start Program.
