IdleAire Forges Multi-Million Dollar Agreement to Manufacture Environmentally Friendly, Flat Panel T

Jaco Electronics, a distributor and integrator of electronic components and flat panel truck stop service modules, recently entered into a multi-million dollar contract with Knoxville-TN based IdleAire Technologies Corporation, the leading provider of ATE-Advanced Travel Center Electrification services.
IdleAire’s ATE Service Modules give truck drivers parked at truck stops access to a variety of critical environmental, entertainment and power services - all via a simple, inexpensive window mount hookup.
“We are very pleased that Jaco Electronics will be manufacturing proprietary ATE Service Modules for use by our valued guests,” said Lynn Youngs, IdleAire’s Chief Operating Officer. “Our growing network includes almost 8,000 parking spaces at 122 sites in 33 states. We estimate that to date our system has eliminated over 400 million pounds of diesel idling emissions while conserving approximately 18 million gallons of fossil fuel.”
