One of the nation’s leading biodiesel producers and marketers recently announced a new service designed to make biodiesel more available at truck stops nationwide.

Renewable Energy Group (REG), based out of Ames, IA made the announcement at the NATSO Show in Orlando, Fla., claiming the REG® Retail Biodiesel Blending Program offers truck-stop operators both biodiesel injection equipment and a regular supply of high-quality biodiesel.  They say truck stop operators selling large volumes of diesel fuel can increase their profit margins drastically.

As part of the supply agreement, Renewable Energy Group, Inc. plans to remotely monitor biodiesel tank levels in order to offer customers an automated reorder process.
The biodiesel injection system equipment is compatible with existing infrastructure and allows truck stop operators to remotely adjust biodiesel blend levels on a daily basis based on local economics and diesel prices.
