The last few years have seen an explosion in the popularity of concern for the environment, and the trucking industry is no exception.  Trucking companies in the news are addressing issues such as ways they can cut the amount of fuel they use or reduce the emissions coming from their fleets.  But what about heavy duty truck parts?

Tetz says his company has seen a significant number of people requesting used parts just because they can’t swallow the cost of new parts. And as the cost of new parts keep rising, more and more people are turning to used parts.

“It is the new black to be green,” says Tetz, “by purchasing salvage parts, not only are you saving money, and you are helping the environment as well.”
