Auto MaintenanceYou keep a close watch on your big rig, but what about that vehicle you have back at home? Here are some tips for keeping it in shape: * Change the oil regularly to keep your engine in shape. * Rotate tires at every other oil change to make sure they wear evenly. * Check regularly: oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, engine coolant, power steering fluid, windshield wiper fluid, and lights * Also, check parking spots often for leaks. * Check your tire pressure at least once a month. You can find the correct pressure listed in your owners’ manual. * As soon as you notice any type of irregular noise, vibration, leak or warning light that comes on while driving, have it checked out at a garage or dealer as soon as you can. That way you can catch a problem before it gets worse. * It’s also a good idea to have your car inspected by a mechanic once a year.
